3D-LABS is called into life and rented the first 60m² in technology center of St. Georgen.
Infected from the euphoria of generative processes, the first production unit was installed promptly.
1 year later
A few experiences richer on the road to independence we’ve “expanded” to 90m² and made plans in large steps.
The Euromold could boast for the first time with 3D-LABS.
3D printer growth
The orders to take the fear “what to do in case of a machine failure” is growing. And then she got there, the second poduction unit.
Where are we heading…?
…was the question. Stereolithography, a longtime acquaintance in this field, or would you prefer something fresh, something new, something like that never existed before? Easy answer!
So we spread ourselves again and extended the space to make room for the Scan LED technology.
3 years..how fast the time flies
After ups and downs, successes and instructive failures, we have mastered the 3-year hurdle.
We have invested a lot of time and patience in our in-house technologies, won competent network partners and remain committed to uphold the word Rapid in prototyping.
Our in-house production now includes:
- 4x ProJet 3D-printing production unit
- 1x M120 SCAN-LED production unit
- 2x CAD workplace for 3D construction
Was our motto for the year 2013. The to devote time resulting errors to cope better with the existing everyday obstacles and create your own bar again a bit later, we watched as our tasks.
Meanwhile, the collection of our 3D printers grew to a total of 6 ProJet production units to be more efficient and just-in-time in manufacturing and delivery.
Real serial production
This was the task’s name of some of our customers and provided us with new challenges.
For the first time, we produced batches of <5.000 identical parts in 3D-printing with MultiJet-Modeling.
The first 3D-Tage found its way into the technology center, where we picked up the theme of 3D printing in the Black Forest with a variety of co-exhibitors.
At the cutting edge
Small 3D printers find their way to many companies. We followed this trend and introduced the Totem3D DLP printer.
The MJM-machinery grew to 7 production units, but 2 of these turned later for internal projects.
The next spatial magnification was taken at the end of the year, so we use technology center’s complete basement for us now.
Operating instead of reacting
…this was our motto for 2016.
Cooperationen for upcoming R&D projects were concluded and a company for material development was founded.
Due to the continuous demand for our LED.W material, the machine park has been expanded by a further production facility in the Scan-LED process.
In 2016, the MJM machine park also temporarily grew to 12 units.
Another year full of work and drive. A highlight was the first own booth at the formnext in Frankfurt, where we presented our Black Forest typical new look.
We have invested a lot of time and effort in the focus on mass production with additive processes, hopefully the right way to go in the coming years.
